Specializing in the industrial side of sound design, Jason Jones aka " sliver " produced the sample cd series TITANIUM RHYTHMS 1 & 2. His work also appears on THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT 1 & 2 and D-DAY, sample cd's released by BIG FISH AUDIO. He has since produced and contributed material for several musical projects, soundtracks, and music sound design for film, including the LAKESHORE ENTERTAINMENT / SCREEN GEMS / SONY motion picture UNDERWORLD (2003). Jason has also had several articles featuring his sound design work in KEYBOARD MAGAZINE, FUTURE MUSIC, and COMPUTER MUSIC.
Jason Jones Sound Design Bio
Jason records all of the source material for his productions at locations such as factories, junkyards, and machine shops using a range of microphones and micing techniques. He then processes the raw sounds into rhythmatic textures and soundscapes that are unique to the world of sound design.
